Mandarake and Suruga will put items from the kuji up as well, the latter usually for much cheaper, but they take a lot longer for the items to go up since they’re all second hand goods. Also kuji merch can range from 500 yen right up to 50,000 yen online (I hate you so much double up figures). Both of which require a proxy and extra fees on top to even get them outside of Japan. Or you can buy an entire crate (yep, it’s about $500) from Rakuten retailers, though Rakuten will list separately too but be careful with sellers. You have two options basically, Yahoo Japan Auctions where people will throw up their prizes for the highest bidders. That’s half the reason I don’t like covering them, because it can be completely unfair to those outside Japan and the point of this blog is to make this stuff accessible not rub it in faces :( I’m Europe too hi! Short answer: there is no easy way to get ichiban kuji prizes, in fact its a downright pain in the butt.
